After sitting on the fence for the last six months or so, I fell off to one side and sold the Pugsley. I’d not been intending to sell it (not really, anyway), but someone posted an “I want a Puglsey, I need a Pugsley” ad on Craiglist the other week and I wasn’t able to resist the urge to thin the herd.
With the demise of the Kona Jake, the sale of the Casati frameset, and now the sale of the Pugsley, the fleet is reaching a more manageable size. It’s also nice that I’ve got one less set of disc brakes to worry about, and one less derailleur.
Of course, I was able to make a substantial contribution to the new frame fund (though most of it went to the new roof fund)–so it won’t be too much longer before I can replace the Kona, though I’m still contemplating what the replacement will be.
Now if I could just get rid of a few wheels….
