And so the second week of this round of 30 days of biking begins…just as the first week started–with a bog-standard commute.
In fact, the only thing that required that I ride with my eyes open today is that we are experiencing the first waves of the invasion from planet Tri-Dork for this weekend’s Ironman Wisconsin.
Since nothing much else is going on, I’ll resort the the usual blogger’s trick: I’ll just rehash the previous week using some stats that only mean something to me:
- Miles: 159
- Trips: 20
- Beer runs: 4
- Non-utility rides: 1
- Days wearing wool: 5
- Fixed-gear rides: 9
