Trans-Iowa v9: The Short Version

This weekend past, I rode the 9th edition of Trans-Iowa.

I didn’t finish, dropping out at checkpoint 2 after ~175 miles due to some knee problems. But, it was still a great day on the bike.

I’m slowly working on a much longer story, and I’ll post that in the coming days.

For now I’d like to thank several people for making it a great weekend, all around (in no particular order and for different reasons): Guitar Ted, all of the TI volunteers, Nate Vergin, Michael Lemberger, Grant Foster, and my lovely wife.

Update: There is now a much longer version.
